Linux System Administrator
About the job
Come Join us! You will design, organize, and modify the company`s customer computer systems, storage, cybersecurity solutions.
We are looking to hire a system administrator with outstanding communication abilities, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of best practices. You will install new solutions, manage, configure & troubleshoot systems to ensure they are operating effectively. Based on assessments, you will harness collected knowledge and adjust existing systems.
Responsibilities
• Administrate and maintain operational system state, including follow up and reporting to management.
• Install, configure, and manage vendor specific server
• Install, configure, and manage containers, VM`s,
• install new hardware/software at customer's site
• Ensure system design allows all components to work together properly in an efficient and effective way
• Continually follow up on updates and upgrades and initiate recommendations accordingly
• Evaluate and modify system performance
• Work closely with customers, building strong relationships and providing top notch service experience
Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as Linux System Administrator
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or vendor certification
• Experience with Managing Python environments with VENV/CONDA.
• Experience with Docker Engine, Docker builds and containers lifecycle.
• Experience with GitHub Actions/Gitlab CI
• Experience with Installing CUDA, NVIDIA drivers and CUDNN in Containers, VM`s, Bare metal.
• Knowledge in Azure AD, Office 365, SharePoint, and related Microsoft technologies.
• Knowledge in one of the leading virtualization solutions (Hyper-V, VMware) Must
• Knowledge in Storage concepts (File, Block, Object), managing storage solutions such as – nfs, Iscsi based solutions
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written
• Advanced troubleshooting skills & customer support mindset
• Strong hands-on skills - Managing Microsoft servers – Must
• Strong hands-on skills - Managing Linux server – Must
• Level 2 Security clearance or equal recommendation – Must
